Amazing course which I really enjoyed playing on. The greens were in great condition and the signature eighth hole was out of this world. The views to be had from across the the whole course were excellent and they alone are worth a visit here. The staff were ever so welcoming and the food was amazing, I would definitely return to the "most northerly club" in England whenever I get the chance.

Having played here I have to say that the course overall is very goood and provides just the right amount of challenge for me. The greens and fairways were good in general, the only thing I would say is that the speed of the greens varied a little too much. Staff and facilties were good and the location in Northumberland was beautiful, so many great attractions. Would recommend if you're in the area or even if you're visiting Newcastle as not too far away either!

    Breathtaking views!
The views from this course are some of the best I’ve ever experienced during a round of golf however I felt let down by the layout – had so much potential but just not long enough to compete with some of its better known neighbours. Course was in good condition for early November in England and thankfully we were quite lucky with the weather – we had packed several layers and waterproofs! Would recommend renting a buggy as the walk is pretty tough in places. The staff at the clubhouse were very friendly and the guys in the pro shop offered us some advice about how to play the course. Price was very reasonable and I’d like to go back again – perhaps in the summer though!
