Quinta do Vale Golf Resort is one of the top golf courses in the Algarve, Portugal. This course is yet another fine example of the work of Serveriano Ballesteros and his company Trajectory S.L, which has worked on some of the most famous golf courses in the world.
The course, which was opened in 2008, consists of:
- An 18-hole, parkland/links style course that meanders a distance of 5756m through 75 hectares of stunning Portuguese countryside.
- A Par 72 composition, including; 6 Par 5s, 6 Par 4s, 6 Par 3s
- Full golf club amenities including a clubhouse with excellent changing facilities and a fully stocked bar, serving a range of snack and cold and hot drinks.
- A charming, elevated, sun terrace that looks over the course. The perfect place to relax and unwind whilst baking in the Portuguese sunshine.
- Tee times throughout the day as well as twilight golf tee times sometimes available. Due to high demand it is advisable to book well in advance.
The Quinta do Vale Golf Resort features a ‘real golfers’ course. Ballesteros has taken his influence for the course from some of the most famous golf courses throughout the world to create a course riddled with challenges that will require you to use all your golfing know-how. The beauty of this course is that both experienced and novice golfers will find this course enjoyable.
Aside from the excellent golf, the surrounding vistas are the main attraction of this course. The course is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape and whilst you are playing your round of golf you will be treated to both costal views and countryside vistas alike.
The course is set in a plush resort with a whole range of apartments, townhouses and villas available to buy and short lease. Built and furnished to high standard you will find these like your home from home. If you don’t fancy staying on the resort there are a numerous number of accommodation options for all tastes and budgets available.

Exiting and enjoyable13/11/2015this review is the subjective opinion of a GOLFBOO user and not of GOLFBOO S.LThe golf course has 6 par 5, 6 par 4 and 6 par 3. The views to the river with the bridge to Spain and the many olive trees and lakes makes the landscape pleasant to watch. The course is relatively flat and you can walk it easily even if the last holes are a bit hilly. There is a lot, really a lot, of water hazards so you might loose a few balls, but the lay-out makes it really enjoyable to play. Only disappointment were the bunkers were the sand were hard and rather clay than sand.

One word...outstanding!04/05/2015this review is the subjective opinion of a GOLFBOO user and not of GOLFBOO S.LAs other reviews so rightly put it, this course is simply amazing. One of the most difficult tracks i've ever played, and despite going over my handicap, the course is thoroughly enjoyable and all of our group had a fab time. The course plays great and really tests your ability as a golfer, even for a sub 10 handicapper like myself. Lovely sweeping fairways and a mixture of flat and elevated greens...watch out for the bunkers though as a few of them are really deep! Cannot wait to return in the summer, hopefully I can beat my score next time!

Simply blown away22/04/2015this review is the subjective opinion of a GOLFBOO user and not of GOLFBOO S.LAbsolutely fantastic course. Everything here is perfect and set in the perfect environment to play golf. I decided to take a lesson from a golf pro before hitting the course, and he taught me some fantastic tips that have drastically improved my game from tee to green. The course itself is up there with one of the best I've ever played. It wasn't worn out and certainly did not look tired, which can be the case with the majority of courses. Could not fault the staff neither, they were very courteous and attended to all of our needs. I would recommend hiring a golf buggy, especially if you have feet like mine, as the course is fairly long and demanding and can be quite strenuous. Cannot wait to come back here!

Fun layout with all greens in top condition and wide fairways. Most importantly, the price/quality ratio is unbeatable. A fabulous golfing experience!
