The golf course at Navan Golf Club can be found in County Meath in the Northeast of Ireland. It is found to the north of the county town of Navan itself and the local area has a number of attractions and places of interest to entice visitors. Just across the border in County Louth is the large and bustling town of Drogheda which is around 25 kilometres to the East of the site and has even more to offer for those staying nearby.

The course and club here are relatively young by Irish standards and were founded in 1998. Over recent years the course, which was designed by Robert J Browne, has matured well and is a favourite with locals and visitors alike.

Consisting of 18 holes this course measures 6056 metres from the yellow tees and has a par of 72.It is of a parkland style and the features here are extensive if somewhat traditional. Expect well placed bunkers and hazards as well as many tiered greens and extensive fairways. There is also a great number of mature trees and tricky dog legs combined with gently undulating terrain to make just the right amount of a challenge for all.

Facilities at the club are good and in the clubhouse players will find locker and changing facilities as well as a bar and restaurant area for them to enjoy after their rounds. There is also a well-appointed professional golf shop stocking an array of merchandise, apparel and equipment and there are also a number of hire items available from there too. With regards to practice facilities there is covered and floodlit driving range and a short game practice area upon which players can hone their skills.

Tee time availability for visitors to this course is generally fair and there should be a time to suit all if booked far enough in advance. Green fee rates are also very reasonable and offer good value for money. Like most golf clubs both tee time availability and green fee rates change here depending upon the time of the week and the season and this should be noted when booking so as to avoid disappointment.

The club is well connected to the rest of Ireland by road and the capital Dublin is only around 45 minutes to the Southeast by car and onward transport links from there are good. The border with Northern Ireland is also close to the site and access to the country is good. There are a number of accommodation options in and around the local area which should appeal to most tastes and budgets also.

This course is very well maintained throughout the year. it is a good challenging course, and on a windy day can be tough. Would recommened to play it as it is value for money. Also there is good food in the bar once finished your round. Also has a good pro shop
