Luttrellstown Castle Golf and Country Club and its associated golf course are ideally located towards the East of  Ireland and can easily be accessed by visitors from all locations both within the country as well as from the rest of the world. Found within the Castleknock suburb of  Dublin it is around half an hour away by car from both the city centre and the airport yet is set in a stately, tranquil estate making it a popular choice with visitors wanting the best of both worlds in terms of amenities and location.

The course was constructed in 1993 and is the combined work of established designers  Tom MacKenzie and  Donald Steel. Between them they have worked on courses including some of those at the infamous St. Andrews in Scotland as well as others around the world in destinations from  Slovakia to the Bahamas to name just a few.

Measuring 6390 metres this 18-hole parkland style course has a par of 73. Features here are extensive so expect undulating greens, winding streams and other water features as well as the clever placement of bunkering which combine to create a tricky course. This is a testing course that will really allow players to demonstrate their prowess with the clubs however the beautiful surroundings which include the regal Luttrellstown Castle itself are sure to make for an enjoyable round to be had by all.

Facilities here are good and are well-equipped to meet the needs of any modern golfer. There are two restaurants within the clubhouse as well as number of lounge areas for players to relax and unwind in after their rounds. In terms of practice facilities there is driving range and short game area as well a short course comprising of 3 holes on which players can hone their skills.

Visiting players are warmly welcomed here and the tee time availability reflects this as it is rather generous. Considering the quality of the course and the facilities here as well as its great location the green fee rates here are excellent value for money even considering their seasonal fluctuations. There are also a number of discounts and offers available to play here at certain times of the day/year and these offer fantastic value for money.

As mentioned above the transport links to this club from the rest of Ireland as well as the rest of the world are well established thanks to its proximity with Dublin. The club has a number of connections to a variety of accommodation providers within the local area which include everything from boutique hotels to smaller, family run establishments and they are happy to help make arrangements for visitors with all tastes and budgets.
