The golf course at Killiney Golf Club is located in the east of Ireland within County Dublin. In a county synonymous with excellent golf clubs and courses, Killiney is in good company and the local area is well equipped to meet the needs of visitors from both near and far. The bustling city centre of Dublin itself is only 20 minutes away from the site and here visitors will find a vibrant hub of activity full of eateries, hostelries and of course, culture.

With an interesting and extensive history, the golf club celebrated its centenary in 2003 after it was founded in 1903. Both the club and course have overcome numerous challenges over the years but these have only added to the dynamic fabric of the place and all visitors are sure to enjoy the rich history that is apparent here.

This is a beautiful hidden gem of a course that is made up of nine holes. The course is of the classical parkland style and measures 2612 metres from the yellow tees with a par of 37. Players should expect a number of elevation changes as well as some intelligently placed bunkers. The greens here are well-maintained and the course is incredibly scenic with some great backdrops of the Dublin Mountains to be seen. This course will demand accuracy for players of all strengths yet is sure to be an enjoyable challenge.

With regards to facilities the club is well appointed and everything is of the highest of standards. There is a Members Bar and restaurant area serving a good selection of meals and refreshments, there are also installations in the clubhouse for snooker and bridge as a further means of relaxation after games. There is also a professional golf shop here offering a good array of products as well as a custom fitting club service. Practice facilities here are also good and there is an ample practice area with two greens.

Tee time availability for visitors to this course is overall fair and there should be a time to suit all with a little compromise. Green fee rates are a little on the expensive side for visitors however when you consider the quality of the course and facilities they are good value for money. A number of discounts and offers are usually available to play here at certain times of the year.

The club is easily accessed from much of the rest of Ireland as well as nearby Northern Ireland and the onward transport links from nearby Dublin are also strong to many destinations, particularly England and Wales. As it is so close to the city centre the accommodation options available for visitors here are excellent and there should be something to suit everyone.
