Kilcock Golf Club and its golf course can be found towards the east of Ireland within County Meath. Near to the border with County Kildare, the golf course is around half an hour away by car from Dublin city centre. The local area is synonymous with great golf and there are a number of great courses and clubs in and around the local area meaning that Kilcock is in good company. Other local golf installations include the Knockanally Golf and Country Club and the Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Resort.

Established in 1984 the club has an interesting history and has grown to become a popular club with players both locally and from further afield. The club originally played on a course of nine holes however more land was negotiated and the course was extended to 18 holes. Irish golfing legend and beacon of golf design Eddie Hackett was responsible for the design here.

Measuring 5870 metres from the white tees for gentlemen and 5110 metres from the red tees for ladies the course has a par of 72 and 74 respectively.  The course is made up of 18 holes and is of a traditional parkland style which is synonymous with Hackett. Players should expect a good scattering of mature trees and natural water features and greens here are to the highest USGA standard making this course a pleasure to play on.

Facilities at the club are good and there is both a bar and restaurant area for players to enjoy after their rounds. There is also a well-stocked professional golf shop offering an array of products from a number of international brands. The club’s resident PGA professional also offers a number of coaching and tuition options which players can partake in so as to improve their game.

Green fee rates here are reasonable for visitors and vary somewhat depending upon the time, day and point in the season that golf is played. Tee time availability is fair for visitors and there should be a time to suit all if arranged in advance. Tee times are also subject to change with the seasons and this should be noted by potential visitors so as to avoid disappointment.

The club is well connected to much of the rest of Ireland as well as Northern Ireland by road and thanks to its proximity with capital, onward links to other countries such as England, Wales, Scotland and France (as well as many more) are plentiful. Accommodation options in and around the local area are plentiful and there should be something to suit all.
