Just South of Kilsallaghan in County Dublin towards the East of Ireland is the Corrstown Golf Club and its associated golf course. This mainly countryside and agricultural area is less than 10 minutes away from the international airport in Dublin yet is still a relatively peaceful and serene location in which to enjoy a round or two of golf.

The course here was designed by the well-known Eddie Connaughton who has worked on many golf courses throughout Ireland. Comprising of 27 holes the course here was opened in stages with the first nine (also known as the Orchard) opening in 1993 and the following two nines (the River and Meadow) being opened in 1995. The design of this course has managed to perfectly blend difficulty with beauty.

Consisting of 27 holes which are laid out in 3 routes of 9, the course here offers a great choice for players to mix and match which loops to play on.  A popular combination of loops to play are the River and Meadow which measure 6077 metres from the white tees and have a par of 72 although the choice is down to the individual. Due to its parkland style nature, features here include the extensive use of trees as well as clever and strategic bunker and water usage.

Facilities at this club a good and the clubhouse boasts a spacious bar and restaurant area in which players can enjoy everything from a quiet, quick drink to a full a la carte meal. There is also a professional golf shop at Corrstown which stocks a wide array of well-known international brands and is staffed by golf professionals who can provide advice on purchases as well as offering club repairs and fittings and golf lessons and tuition.

Green fee rates here are reasonable when you consider the quality of the course and its facilities as well as the extensive selection of holes. Tee time availability is also fair and there should a time to suit most visitors although weekend availability is restricted. Both green fee rates and tee time availability change depending on the season and the time of the week.

Access to the club via road is good and thanks to the proximity with Dublin further links to the rest of the world are strong. Accommodation options in and around the local area as well as the capital itself are plentiful and there will be something here to suit all tastes, budgets and needs.
