Burnfield House Golf Club and its associated golf course can be found in the east of Northern Ireland within County Antrim. Lying between the major towns of Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus, the club is well situated to welcome visitors from both near and far and there are fair amenities in and around the local area for visitors. There are a number of areas of natural beauty nearby that are also well worth a visit.

The club is relatively young by local standards and was originally founded in 1995. It remains undocumented as to who designed the course here, however over the years it is clear that it has matured well and is now a much loved golfing installation. The club is fully affiliated with the Golfing Union of Ireland.

Made up of 9 holes, the course here is of a traditional parkland style and features are very classical. Measuring just over 2650 metres from the white tees and with a par of 35, the course can be played as just the nine holes or can be doubled up and played as 18. Players should expect mature trees and gently contoured terrain here and overall this course presents an enjoyable challenge for most.

Facilities at the club are very good and there is both a bar and restaurant for players to enjoy after their rounds in which all are sure to receive a warm and friendly welcome.  There are also changing and shower facilities available for members and non-members alike. Furthermore there are two pool tables and three TV’s which can also be used and enjoyed by all.

Members have a strong presence here however visitors are warmly welcomed also and tee times during the week have the best overall availability. Green fee rates here are very reasonable and this is a good value for money course that is sure to suit all.

The club is well located to receive visitors from much of the rest of the country and the capital Belfast is only around 20 minutes away by car. Onward links from Belfast to the rest of the United Kingdom as well as nearby Ireland are much stronger by road, rail, air and boat. There are a number of accommodation options in and around the local area which should appeal to most tastes and budgets.
