The Lady Hill golf course belonging to the Bodenstown Golf Club can be found towards the east of Ireland within County Kildare. One of two courses at the site, the surroundings here are excellent and many views over the imposing Dublin Mountains can be seen nearby. The capital of Dublin itself is only a short distance away by car from the site so this makes for a great destination for golfing getaways.
Lady Hill is the younger of the two courses here and was opened for play in 1983, some 10 years after the opening of the first course and the foundation of the club.
Of a parkland style like that of its fellow course, the Lady Hill is somewhat shorter and has a fair par of 69. Expect gently undulating terrain from this course as well as plenty of mature woodland combined with cleverly placed bunkers and water hazards. Views from the course are at their utmost best from the 6th, 13th and 15th holes and are sure to be breath-taking. Overall, this is an enjoyable course which is suitable for players of most abilities and strengths.
Facilities here are fair and players are sure to find all of the necessary amenities that they should need. There is a resident professional here who offers coaching and tuition to players of all skills and standards and throughout the year there are a number of specific golfing clinics to further help players to up their game.
As the Lady Hill course is the younger course it is slightly cheaper to play on and green fee rates are very reasonable. Tee time availability is good and there should be a suitable time for all visitors if they are willing to avoid the prime time playing slots.
The club is relatively well connected to much of the rest of Ireland by road as well as the nearby United Kingdom. Accommodation options are plentiful and there should be something here to suit the tastes and budgets of all visitors.

Average rating obtained byThis rating for Bodenstown Golf Club. is the average of 1 ratings obtained from www.golfshake.comVery good course. They have done some drainage works which have improved the fairways. The fairways themselves bordered with lots of trees, so don't slice your shots. Some very tricky par 3's at the back of the course really keep things interesting. Could do with some more water features and more thoughtful placing of the bunkers to guard the greens better. Overall, excellent. You really feel like you can get lostion in and superb value for money.
