Found within County Meath in the northeast of Ireland is the golf course at Bellewstown Golf Club. It is found just to the south of the major port town of Drogheda and the capital city of Dublin is just over 40 km to the south of the site meaning that there is plenty to see and do in the vicinity for visitors. Drogheda boasts an eclectic music and arts scene which is a major part of the culture here and the town is home to a great number of independent artists.

The course here is very modern by Irish standards yet this should not detract from its appeal. It was opened for play in 2004 and has been maturing well ever since. It was designed by the duo of Nicky and Ollie Ennis who are somewhat unknown yet it is clear to all that play here that they are very gifted in terms of design.

Measuring 5947 metres from the yellow tees this is a par 72 course made up of 18 holes. Greens here are of the high USGA standards and there are a great number of mature trees and interesting water features. This is a challenging but fair course which is suitable for all types of golfer and is sure to be enjoyed by all.

Facilities at this club are fair and there is everything here that players should need for an enjoyable day of golf. There are a variety of light refreshments and snacks available here and the club has good links with nearby providers for those looking for something more substantial.  Trollies and caddies are also available to hire from the pro shop and there is a fair selection of equipment and apparel for sale also. There is also a driving range here which players can use to practice and/or warm up.

Tee time availability for visitors to this course is generally very good and there will be a time to suit all. Green fee rates offer exceptional value for money and are very competitive. Both green fees and tee time availability are subject to change with the seasons and this should be noted when booking.

The club is very well connected to much of the north and central Ireland due to its proximity with Dublin and Northern Ireland is also easy to access. With regards to accommodation there are a number of options in and around the local area which should appeal to all tastes and budgets, particularly in Drogheda.
